Following our tribute to Lucha Reyes, La Tequilera taught us to sip boldly, so let's talk tequila! Beyond Margaritas and the salt/lime shots lies a refined and mellow experience of the Añejo. This type of tequila is aged in oak barrels for at least a year but less than 3 years and when matured longer, it becomes an extra Añejo. It's a 'press mute to the background bar banter, sink in your seat' kind of taste.
